Our neighborhood school, where we Grow Learners and Leaders, is located in the heart of the Town of Firestone. As a vibrant community of students, teachers and families we are dedicated to excellence in learning and the development of the whole child as we empower students to imagine, believe, and achieve. We believe in every child’s ability to SOAR by focusing on their goals through high expectations, rigor, growth and achievement, developing character, and fostering a love of lifelong learning.

Growing Learners and Leaders through Engagement:
Our commitment to growing learners and leaders is evident in our diverse academic programming which meets the needs of all learners including gifted and advanced learning classes, literacy support, and specialized programs. We provide extended learning day opportunities and summer school options to enrich students’ experiences. Our commitment goes beyond academics, offering engaging opportunities for talent and leadership development through Robotics, Student Council, Coding, Choir, Safety Patrol, enrichment classes, and our popular running club.
Frederick Feeder
Students leaving Prairie Ridge Elementary School will attend Coal Ridge Middle School and then move on to Frederick High School.
