Community support is a vital element to student success and helping us Grow Learners and Leaders. There are many opportunities for volunteering in our school. School volunteering possibilities include:

PTO

The Prairie Ridge Elementary PTO is an essential partner in supporting the advancement of our school and students. This dedicated group of volunteer parents who advise on school operations, fundraise for school initiatives, recognize and support teachers, and contribute so much more to the success of our school community.

School Accountability Committee

Our School Accountability Committee reviews school data, goals, and provides feedback on the School Unified Improvement Plan. Each school is responsible for establishing a School Accountability Committee (SAC) to:

  • Recommend priorities for spending school funds
  • Make recommendations concerning the preparation of a School Performance Plan
  • Discuss whether school leadership, personnel, and infrastructure are advancing or impeding the School Performance Plan.
